Longbenton High School has a very strong track record of exceptional secondary practice for children with Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD) within its ARP, the Melrose Centre.

These posts involve being a member of a team of teachers and support staff to deliver outstanding provision for children with autism.

We require additional excellent, enthusiastic and experienced teaching assistants who:

Melrose is an additionally resourced provision within our high school which provides a quality educational provision for students with core autism as their primary barrier to learning. Melrose contains a wealth of experience and expertise in a number of different areas, and would be a great place to develop your pedagogy.
