CORPORATE FRAUD INVESTIGATOR
Salary £25,481 - £28,672 (plus 3% performance related pay)
Location – Flexible
Contract - permanent

We are looking for an experienced Corporate Fraud Investigator to join our successful Counter Fraud team. The role involves investigating cases of suspected fraud on behalf of our clients, providing advice to clients on measures to prevent fraud, raising awareness of fraud risks, conducting exercises to identify possible fraud and completing other ad-hoc project work.

The Veritau group provides internal audit, counter fraud, risk management and information governance related services to councils, schools and other public sector clients.

You should be able to manage your own time, develop good working relationships with our clients and be able to communicate effectively. You should also be confident, have good organisational skills, and be willing to work with others in a team environment.

The successful candidate should be an Accredited Counter Fraud Specialist (ACFS) or hold an equivalent counter fraud qualification. A degree and experience of working with local authorities would be an advantage.
