Hambleton District Council is a forward thinking and financially stable local authority with a strong track record of development and place shaping. With a new corporate plan in place and with clear, ambitious priorities for the next four years, we are now looking to recruit an experienced and talented Corporate Communications Manager to help us develop the Hambleton brand and to ensure our councillors and officers receive an exceptional communications service.

We are looking for a creative thinker who is also strong on the detail. With a background across a number of communications disciplines, you will need to be able to take our new communications strategy and work with colleagues across the organisation to develop a high-quality programme of work.

The council is a supportive and open environment to work in, and there is a good degree of autonomy and flexibility with this role. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to step-up to a more senior corporate communications management role who can bring new ideas and new ways of working with them.
