Redcar and Cleveland Local Authority presents a unique opportunity to be part of a team who work together to support children and families.

The post holder will support the commissioning process by undertaking a range of tasks including day to day management of existing contracts, co-ordinating and undertaking contract compliance work and helping to develop service specifications and tender documentation. You will engage with many stakeholders and across local authorities through our collaborative working.

While the role is varied, you will be responsible for and contribute to establish an appropriate framework for ensuring the capture and appropriate use of all relevant information to inform a well-rounded picture of how Childrens care providers are performing individually and collectively through the undertaking of Quality Monitoring within service settings to ensure we have safe effective services delivering excellent outcomes for children and young people.

We are looking for the right person with the skills and knowledge to support us to deliver this critical and varied role within the Commissioning Team.
You will have exceptional organisational skills, a flexible and highly responsive approach to work as well as the knowledge and experience of this important area to deliver excellent outcomes for young people.
