Evolve Residential are looking for an experienced and passionate individual to manage our fully refurbished 3 bed children’s home situated in central Darlington.

Evolve Residential is a new and exciting initiative of Evolve Fostering, an established independent fostering agency. Our company directors have significant experience within every aspect of children’s social care, including residential and residential management.

As a new children’s residential provider, we are seeking to establish ourselves as a leader in high-quality children’s residential care. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate who wishes to grow and develop their personal skillset with an ambitious organisation.

We require a manager who is experienced, motivated and confident with relevant leadership skills who understands the importance of striving for "outstanding" in all areas of the service. We require someone who can inspire others to achieve this, someone with excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain attention to detail, someone who is willing to embrace our ethos and to grow and develop within the registered managers role.

The successful candidate will have an understanding of the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 alongside relevant experience of Ofsted inspections. You should have an excellent knowledge of evidence-based practice and research in relation to Looked After Children.

The essential qualifications for the post are:

• Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare or equivalent

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent or, have significant experience in a role requiring the supervision and management of staff working in a children’s residential care role, and who is willing to commit to attaining the Level 5 Diploma within 1 year of commencing the registered manager post.
