Hartlepool Borough Councils Learning & Skills Service is a high performing provider and in November 2017 was awarded a Good rating by Ofsted, with excellent features identified.

The service is now moving towards becoming an outstanding provider and is seeking to appoint qualified, ambitious and enthusiastic Tutor/Assessors to join our team to support the delivery of provision such as Apprenticeships. This supports the Hartlepool Learning & Skills Service Apprenticeship Growth Strategy 2020 – 2023.

Please note that there may also be an opportunity for a Fixed Term Contract if sufficient delivery is available which would be at the discretion and to be negotiated with the Apprenticeship Lead.

You will be required to help raise expectations and aspirations of our learners, to enthuse and motivate them towards progression through accredited programmes. Candidates will need to be flexible in the days and times of delivery of course programmes, as required for the needs of the learners and the Service.
