The Activity and well-being service for older people are looking to appoint three experienced carers The roles involve supporting individuals to achieve their individual aims and goals in a supportive and developmental environment. To enable independence and to reduce social isolation through meaningful activity and interactions. Experience in providing personal care is essential. It would be desirable for applicants to have a minimum level 2 qualification in Care or its equivalent.

Our service is committed to the safeguarding and welfare of all service users and expects all staff to share this commitment. The post is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure check along with relevant employment checks.

The council holds ambassador status for the North East Better Health at Work Award.
