An exciting position has arisen for a Business Support Officer to join South Tyneside Council’s Team. The role provides professional and confidential support directly to a Head of Service/Corporate Director.

This challenging position would suit a candidate with a highly positive attitude, who is self-motivated, with excellent communication and organisation skills and a proactive approach to work. Someone who is driven, but likewise calm under pressure.

You may already have experience working as a personal assistant/secretary or you may be looking for a platform to develop and build a successful career in public service.
