Opportunities are available for two permanent Business Development Officer posts within the Business Development team.

The team leads on commercial activities and business improvement for the service:

• 1 x Business Development Officer will lead on identifying commercial opportunities, leading on tender submissions, developing and maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring effective contract management.
• 1 x Business Development Officer will lead on business improvement, quality
management and providing management/performance information for the

Preferences on which Business Development Officer post the applicant is applying for should be indicated on the application form, and will be discussed further at interview.

Required Qualifications:
• Educated to NVQ level 3 or equivalent in a management, building or construction related subject
• Evidence of continuous professional development

All applicants should have proven management experience and a track record of achievement.

Depending on the role you are applying for; you must either have experience in the preparation of tenders and contract management, or experience in managing quality systems and driving business improvement.

Where our roles are customer facing and you are required to speak to members of the public, the ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the posts.
