Are you looking for an opportunity to gain a Level 3 Business Administration qualification whilst gaining valuable work experience? Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council has an exciting new opportunity within the Social Care Payments & Income Team.

The team are responsible for a range of services including:
• Carrying out financial assessments to determine individual contributions towards care costs
• Invoicing adults for their assessed client contribution
• Ensuring fees are paid in a timely manner and recovering any outstanding debts
• Monitoring accounts and adjusting invoices as appropriate
• Ensuring care homes and care at home providers are paid in a timely manner
• Monitoring direct payment accounts in line with the support plan

You will gain valuable work experience supporting the team:
• Checking care provider time sheets and monitoring these against support plans and invoices;
• Raising customer accounts using the Agresso system;
• Supporting the Income team with invoices and credit notes as necessary;
• Checking Direct Debit forms and chasing outstanding payments;
• Scanning and filing as necessary;
• Supporting the wider team as appropriate.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working, positive individual who is self-motivated and able to work using their own initiative as well as being a team player. The successful candidate will be committed to providing an excellent service and be willing to learn and develop their knowledge.
