The Bridge Project is part of the Building Better Opportunities Programme, funded by the European Social Fund and the National Lottery through the National Lottery Community Fund. The Bridge Project aims to help those who experience multiple barriers to work in finding a job or being in a better place to look for work. Bridge is a partnership between Northumberland County Council (NCC) and a number of voluntary organisations in Northumberland.

Our Supported Volunteering Project and Bridge Connectors Project form part of the wider Bridge Project.

We are seeking a Compliance Officer to work with the BBO Bridge Project. The post holder will form part of a small team of staff responsible for the delivery of the BBO/ESF funded programme. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all beneficiary files are compliant with stringent auditing requirements, ensuring evidence requirements are filed and archiving of closed cases. It is important that the successful candidate can work co-operatively and productively with Bridge partners and staff to communicate eligibility and compliance evidence requirements.
