We are looking to appoint an energetic, highly motivated and innovative leader with excellent interpersonal skills. The person appointed will work in partnership with the Head Teacher and the Deputy Head Teacher to promote and manage all aspects of the school’s performance.

The successful applicant will:

• Have a strong commitment to sustaining school improvement;
• Be committed to safeguarding and the wellbeing of children;
• Be passionate in raising standards and committed to developing the potential of every child;
• Maintain a focus on excellence in teaching, learning and assessment through an enriched curriculum;
• Have proven leadership and management skills, experience of SEND and inclusion and excellent attention to detail;
• Be approachable, receptive and able to challenge, motivate and inspire others;
• Have high expectations of aspiration, achievement and behaviour and a consistent approach and ability to challenge unacceptable behaviour.

The Beacon Centre is a Pupil Referral Unit which educates pupils from KS1 to KS4. We can offer you a supportive environment in which you can make a significant impact and further develop professionally.

The successful candidate should have the skills and ability to work across either primary and/or secondary but will be predominately based in the primary provision. The successful candidate will be required to lead on various aspects of the provision.

Applicants who are shortlisted would be required for a lesson observation.
