Art & Design Teacher - Job Share (2 days per week, actual working days TBC)

This is an exciting opportunity to join our aspirational school. We are seeking Key Stage 3 / 4 Art & Design Teacher who is enthusiastic, energetic and ambitious to join our team of committed staff, whose aim is to deliver outstanding teaching and learning to ensure pupils achieve their best. Pupils at Talbot House Trust all have an EHCP for SEMH, but most will have additional complex needs.

We are looking for someone who can work alongside the Art & Design Teacher who is currently employed and has a passion and determination to ensure that all pupils succeed in their education and lead fulfilling lives in careers of their choice.

The ideal candidate will:

• be experienced in raising attainment in a challenging classroom environment;

• be able to deliver Teaching and Learning to Key Stage 3 & 4;

• have proven experience of differentiating successfully with pupils of all abilities;

• be able to maximise the opportunity for literacy learning across the key stages;

• be able to show evidence of continually improving the teaching and learning of their subject though schemes of work and extra-curricular activities.

Salary: TBC pending experience.
