"The Northumberland Portage Service provides an intervention and support service for early years children with complex needs, and their families.  The team are seeking to employ a part time administrative assistant whose duties will include providing day to day support to the Portage Lead in the running of the service and providing administrative support to 6 Portage Home Visitors within the team. The job involves handling and processing information, use of and shared responsibility for IT equipment, ordering resources, stock control, and the processing of invoices and accounts for payment. The successful candidate will be based in Ashington but will occasionally need to travel to other locations to attend training and support Service events. The post is part time, 18 hours per week (Monday to Friday). Flexible working hours may apply.
