Grade 2 (SCP 3) 25 hours a week, term time only
Daily 1.15pm-6.15pm

£18,065 Pro rata term time only

Job Description
We are looking for an energetic, motivated and committed member of staff to join our friendly and hardworking team. The successful applicant must have previous experience of working within a school as you will be expected to hit the ground running and deliver a high standard of work in a fast paced environment as part of our admin team and 'front of house'. They will become part of a forward looking team and as such should be prepared to play an active role in the life and work of the school.

Applicants should have:

-a qualification in Business Administration or Accountancy and Finance, this would be an advantage but not essential
-excellent administrative and ICT skills including SIMS and the ability to multi-task
-the ability to be proactive in assisting all members of staff;
-a passion and willingness helping the school to thrive in the community;
-effective communication skills, both orally and in writing
-the ability to work with high levels of tact, confidentiality and discretion
-the ability to deal with the organisation of our new after school facilities, payments, rotas, communicating with parents and families;
-excellent organisation and filing skills;
-excellent people skills to warmly welcome our parents, teachers and visitors;

-a willingness to participate in the after school club if the need arose;
-a strong awareness of the importance of safeguarding in schools.

Responsibilities would include:

-finance and administration of the after school provision
-supporting the School Business Manager with day to day finance procedures
-various admin tasks and communications with parents;
-being a warm and welcoming point of contact for the school;
-liaising with and offering support to staff, parents, pupils and other professionals.
