Darlington Children's and Adults Services Workforce Development Team work continuously to support our own staff and partners across Darlington.

We are currently supporting the development of Strength Based Working across the Directorate, implementing key approaches, including the Strengthening Families - Family Valued Programme.

To build on our journey of strengths-based practice and support for our families in Darlington, we are looking to employ a forward thinking, motivated and enthusiastic person to help us develop our Assisted and Supported Year of Employment (ASYE) and Knowledge and Skills Statements (KSS) work with staff across both Children’s and Adults Services.

The role of ASYE and KSS Practice Lead will:
- Deliver the ASYE programme, embedding Group Supervision, Practice
Development Workshops and focused 1:1 sessions with ASYE's and
Student Social Workers
- Moderate and Quality Assure designated programmes internally and
- Develop and embed the KSS across Children and Adults Services
- Work in partnership with the Darlington Academy Coordinator to
strengthen the workforce offer and develop a “grow your own and attract
the best” ethos

We are looking for an experienced Social Worker for this role, which will be fundamental in supporting the Principal Social Worker and the Workforce Development Manager in the implementation of the KSS in Darlington and the further development our excellent ASYE’s.
