We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced person who will continue to support the improvement journey across a range of services within the council, with a specific focus on children’s social care.

With a good understanding of the key issues facing local government, you will be experienced in using data and communicating the key messages to a variety of audiences.

Working within the centralised Policy, Performance and Research team, your focus will be on supporting the children’s social care service. You will be joining a team that is already adopting innovative new business intelligence software and techniques in order to improve our work. You will have opportunities to continue this improvement in the future.

Supporting your technical skills, you will also be effective in managing relationships with a range of stakeholders, both internal and external, and be knowledgeable about the Ofsted inspection framework.
