Law and Governance wish to recruit an enthusiastic, self motivated individual to undertake an apprenticeship with the Registration Service (Births, Death and Marriages).

As an Administration Apprentice based with the Registrars you will be trained to:

- deal with customer enquiries including in writing, by telephone and in
person;
- provide advice and guidance in a professional and efficient manner,
responding with courtesy, helpfulness and sensitivity;
- assist with ceremonies;
- issue copy certificates from historic birth death, marriage and civil
partnership registers;
- use a service specific IT package; and
- make appointments for members of the public.

If you think you would enjoy helping people through both sad and happy times and want to develop customer service skills you will find this to be a very rewarding role. The post is fixed term for 18 months.
