Our philosophical approach is to provide exceptional parenting to our young people and see beyond their behaviour to go the extra mile for them. Aycliffe Secure Centre cares for young people who are sentenced, remanded or accommodated under a secure accommodation order as directed by the courts. They need support and intervention in a safe and caring environment, while working on rehabilitation, education and training in vocational skills and life skills.

The Role:
As Case Manager you will take responsibility for the care planning and interventions for our young people on one of the secure children’s homes. Working as part of the Multi-Disciplinary Team you will strive to ensure young people reach their potential and successfully transition back to the community.

You will provide support to the Home manager in meeting the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 and contribute to the mentoring/development of staff within the team.

The successful candidate will also support the 24/7 duty management rota working across the secure centre.

Useful information:
You will work an average of 37 hours per week, with some normal office hours/working from home. There is also a requirement work some bank holidays; and weekends to cover the duty management role every 5 weeks.

The selection process will consist of a Young Peoples Panel, Group Discussion and a Final interview. It is expected the Young People’s panel and group discussion will take place on Friday 23rd July and the Final interview will be week commencing 2nd August.
