Social work assistant
temporary fulltime 37hrs until 30/6/22 subject to the return of the substantive postholder

Salary: £20,092 - £22,183 /£21,748 - £24,491 i.e Grade 5 pre progression/Grade 6 post progression

We are looking to appoint a temporary Social Work Assistant to work within the Derwentside Locality Team.

The Team provides an effective and efficient Assessment and Care Management service to adults 18 years and over with a physical disability, older people, and their carers.

The successful candidate will have a good understanding of key policy drivers and issues affecting the Team’s service user groups and their carers. They will be able to work with partner agencies, providers, and other professionals in order to ensure that needs are assessed and met in an appropriate and timely manner.

Required Qualifications: 5 GCSEs (A-C grades), or equivalent relevant qualification.

It is anticipated that interviews will be held week commencing 5th July 2021.
