We are seeking to appoint a Learning Mentor; whose role it is to provide a complementary service to existing teachers and pastoral staff in the school: addressing the needs of children who need help to overcome barriers to learning both inside and outside the school in order to achieve their full potential.

The successful candidate will ideally have demonstrable experience to engage constructively with, and relate to, a wide range of young people and families/carers with different ethnic and social backgrounds. To have responsibility for planning and delivering appropriate learning opportunities for students and work as a team with other Guidance staff to coordinate provision for students with SEMH-related barriers to learning.

This post is 37 hours per week, term time only over 193 days, fixed term until the 31st August 2022.
