Further information

The Governors of this popular and successful school wish to appoint an HLTA to join our team. This is a fixed term contract, which will commence June 2021 until 31 August 2022. The successful candidate will be required to work in any key stage within the school. As a fully qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) you will focus on delivering whole class support to multiple year groups and also be expected to cover class PPA when and where needed. Part-time hours will include working 08:30 – 16.00 Wednesday to Friday. You should be experienced in working with smaller nurture groups to boost attainment and ideally have experience delivering one to one support. The desired candidate must demonstrate an ability to work as part of a team and be able to work in close partnership with parents.

Morpeth All Saints is a friendly, supportive and successful school where “Learning with Love and Laughter” is central to our Christian ethos. The Governing Body and the Diocese are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Any offer of employment will be subject to receipt of an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check. In compliance with Northumberland’s policy on obtaining employment references, applicants must use their current or most recent employer as a reference and provide another reference from a previous employer or university. Character references and testimonials are not acceptable. References must cover the complete 3 year period prior to application and additional referees must be provided if necessary to achieve this. Failure to provide suitable references may result in an application being withdrawn. Please note, the successful candidate will be employed by the governing body, not Northumberland County Council.

Due to the current situation (at time of posting), we are unable to offer personal visits to the school. However, for further information please view our website at: http://www.morpethallsaints.com

To download an application pack, please refer to ‘More Details’ section (Supporting Documents). Due to the current situation and to reduce the risk of cross-contamination, we would strongly advise applicants to complete all necessary documentation electronically and return them to: heather.taylor@morpethallsaints.northumberland.sch.uk
