Processing all types of absence including sickness, leave of absence and all parental leave type absences, which will include the monitoring of entitlements and processing half and nil pay letters, processing of tax and national insurance and other statutory payments.

We are looking for someone who has strong payroll knowledge, knowledge of UK legislation, particularly in relation to the local government sector and preferably with experience of using ResourceLink.

You need to have the drive and determination to do a good job and contribute to the success of our team and service. You must to be computer literate and have the ability to work to multiple deadlines with a very high level of accuracy. You will also need to demonstrate the ability to build strong relationships and promote our service positively, this will require you to be a good communicator.
