Required for September 2021

Temporary post for 12 months to cover Maternity leave

Hebburn Lakes Primary School is a two form entry primary school with a nursery and two specialist resource bases for children with social, emotional, mental health and behavioural difficulties which sits at the heart of its community. It is an incredibly rewarding place to teach as we believe that “Everyone cares and Everyone matters” and are committed to providing a school where children, parents and staff are valued and where we pride ourselves in our commitment to work, learn and achieve together.

We are looking for someone who has an enthusiasm for teaching and learning, high expectations of children's achievements and behaviour and the ability to demonstrate the highest quality classroom practice.

Applications from NQT’s are welcome.

We can offer you a welcoming and supportive place to work, hardworking children, a friendly and supportive staff and an opportunity to develop your teaching career.

South Tyneside Council is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults. We expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment and an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) disclosure will be sought along with other relevant pre-employment checks.
