The highway design team is responsible for a varied programme of civil engineering works.
You will lead the team in the design and supervision of highway improvements and other municipal engineering schemes and as such will require relevant experience at an appropriate level of responsibility in a highway design environment along with an accredited degree in civil engineering.
A detailed knowledge of highway design processes and civil engineering contract procedures combined with project management and budgetary control along with proficiency in AutoCAD and MX or Civil 3D are essential requirements of the post. A knowledge of Microsoft Project and office would be an advantage. highway design environment along with Chartered Engineer status.
You should have a full current driving licence with access to a car or means to mobility support.
